Coze Health is a private-billing clinic, i.e. we do not bulk bill.  This makes it possible for Dr Zappia to spend longer with her patients. Please see below information about the Medicare Safety Net and the use of this to minimise your out-of-pocket medical costs. If you are unable to keep your appointment please advise Dr Zappia as soon as possible so the time can be allocated to another patient. Late cancellation fees of $200 may be charged if appointments are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Failure to attend an appointment may attract a full fee of $275. These fees must be paid before any further appointments can be booked.

As a medical practitioner, Dr Zappia's fees are not covered by Private Health Insurance.

Dr Zappia is able to prepare a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan for you when appropriate.

The fees are time-based and remain the same regardless of whether the consultation is conducted in person, by telephone or by video.

The fee will be automatically billed to your credit/debit card upon completion of the consultation.

Your Medicare rebate will be arranged automatically as soon as the payment is processed.

Allowing Dr Zappia to access and store your credit/debit card details (in an encrypted fashion) confirms your acceptance of these fees and permission for the card to be used in the manner described.

Once you/your family have reached the Safety Net, your out-of-pocket costs will reduce to only 20% of the out-of-pocket costs as listed (full fee minus applicable medicare rebate).
